this is my 1st time on the forum.excuse me for my english ,i live in france.
i'm building a d-lite but i don't know what kind of speaker is the best for this amp .
i own 2 celestion :
a vintage 30 and a g12m
i'm not shure that they are ok
for my project.
does someone could tell me more ?

I don't think there is a "best" speaker...just different flavors. Try them both and see what sounds best to your ears. I have tried a few different speaker combinations with the D'Lite and each one has its own character. One of my favorites is a Vintage 30 clone that I got for $20.

I just fired up my homebrew D'Lite with a Vintage 30 in a Mesa Boogie DC-3 cabinet.

It had an outstanding clean tone but wasn't quite what I was looking for on OD settings. Not bad (actually, it sounded like Angus Young on steriods in surround sound!)...just not what I wanted for this amp.

many thanx to everyone for your help ,i still not decide myself .may be a celestion classic 80 or an eminence red white an blues ,i don't know.i have another question i built the amp with an ot hammond 1620 and two 6v6gt .how could i know what resistor have to be between the 16 ohms output and the PI for the nfb.

Dumb question - why do you want to do it from the 16 ohm tap? Second question, what's your Presence/shunt resistor circuit look like?

As I understand it, as you move from the 4 ohm to the 8 ophm to the 16 ohm OT tap, your voltage increases and you'll want to decrease the NFB resistor accordingly. The voltage increase is not a factor of 2 however. I've read 1.3-1.4. (I suspect it's 1.41 (root 2) given the impedence transfer through the transformer is the square of the winding ratio - but that's just a guess.)
