1st filter in express
If I'm using a Mojo TW or Classic tones power transformer and SS recto, Is a 80@450v cap for the first filter enough voltage handling?
Re: 1st filter in express
What are the specs on the PT? 80/450 are the stock values, but usually implemented as parallel 40s.

300v-0-300v. Standard tw tranny specs.
Parallel caps doesn't increase voltage rating does it? Just

Series identical rating doubles, parallel both must meet rating.
300-0-300..I am seeing umm.. hold on, I am learning... around 410-415? Did I do it right?

Yea, that's what I think... 395v-410v w/ss recto.
Will startup voltage be too much for the 450v cap?
