I've always loved his phrasing.

I just heard "Remember" from Fire and Water this morning on sirius radio. What nice vibrato and bend and release technique Kossoff had. Great song!

Kossoff is one of my all time faves.
I tried for years to get that wicked vibrato down. Never got it like his though.
His playing on the obscure Kossoff, Kirke, Tetsu, and Rabbit album is just so
incredibly tasteful.
Absolutely loved Free!

I've been on a Free kick lately. They were so great! Rock n Roll the way God meant it to be. Lots of open space in their music - less is more!

I'm not real familiar with him. I'll get to be though. I got to thinking about John Cipollini while listening. Good stuff.

I've always liked Paul's playing.I wish more young guitarist would understand what he is doing.

Did Paul ever play/tour with Bad Company? I saw BadCo in 1976 and remember being impressed with the guitar player's crazy vibrato technique. I always thought the guitarist was Mick Ralphs, but I was young and didn't even know about Free and Paul Kossoff back then.

Is it possible Paul was touring with BadCo at that time?

I don't believe so, he had done some solo work and formed the band Back Street Crawler.

He is not listed on any Bad Company credits.
