I can't believe that AC/DC played Fargo!

My wife was a groupie that met The Turtles at Fairbanks Alaska International Airport. She got to ride in the car to the hotel. Imagine my surprise 20 years ago (20 years after the concert) when she couldn't name one Turtles hit!

My band plays that Turtle song probably about the only band around here that does, we like it. :)

Flo played one of my strats for a Tampa festival. 89 or 90. That song always sounds better on that guitar too. :)

The Turtles play the title track for one of my all time favorite movies, "A Guide For the Married Man"

The movie is much better than the song, though.

I use a Roland GR33 midi to get that trumpet intro on Happy Together, now you have me singing it :lol:

Those boys could sing!
Saw Turtles in 1967 opening for Paul Butterfield, and in 1968
with Frank Zappa.
