Phil I think I can figure out how to call them on my own but thanks...

Maybe I will at least finish the amp I started with the other side of the black. I was going to take it apart since it wasn't soldered. I hope I don't get burned since it is from the same sheet.

I did order the green from MMC, which looks like it is the "natural" on watts per comments here.

The behavior of my bad batch was pretty strange. With an ohm meter, it would read infinity between two unconnected eyelets. The conductivity only happened at a higher voltage - like some sort of zener effect. The way to see it was to hook up a high dc voltage across two empty eyelets, and see if I could measure a voltage on a third eyelet, or at the edge of the board. I never was able to read a voltage on the face of the material, and some eyelets would never show a voltage - probably depending on how they were making contact with the interior of the board material.

I have a small rectangle of the stuff with just three eyelets in it that easily shows the effect. I keep meaning to make a youtube video, but priorities....

Anyhow, I'd do a test like that, trying several eyelets, before spending any more time on that board.

Bummer!

I also get my boards from Watts Audio.

When I built my 100w ODS amp, I was able to order the sizes I needed without cutting it.

Don't let that smoke out!

Why would you use the same stuff that gave you problems if the board isn't even soldered? Surely you can use the same template and reuse the parts. Sounds like you don't really know if that was the issue, or have a stress fetish!

Yea I ordered and have the stuff. I will trash the other stuff...although I didn't test the voltage, with all the leads disconnected there was a voltage issue across turrets.
