The trem is easily neutered by lifting the lead at the "Intensity" pot. Have you thought about going "full bypass" on the 'verb? I suggest losing the trem first. You may like it just fine after that.Bob-I wrote:I have a Super Reverb that I built from a Weber kit. I used it as an experiment for minimul mods into a Dumble. Worked out fairly well by modding the normal channel tube into an OD channel. I left the trem and reverb in place but I may change that as they may be tone suckers.

Anyone have suggestion for the original question ? -resistor sizes for the dlator feed. The PT secondary is 345V.

I did that to the trem, big improvement. I think my problem now is poor iron from Weber. In the future I'll replace it with a MM.Zippy wrote:The trem is easily neutered by lifting the lead at the "Intensity" pot. Have you thought about going "full bypass" on the 'verb? Re: Started an HRM project
Your values should be safe for a 12AX7. Just make them accessable in case you need to change them. I would check plate voltage soon after you fire it up the first time especially the cathode follower plate. I think max differential plate to cathode voltage (not plate to ground which may be higher in that circuit) for a 12AX7 is 250vmat wrote:Anyone have suggestion for the original question ? -resistor sizes for the dlator feed. Re: Started an HRM project
Almost finished The dropping string is still missed and the wires are not tied yet. I'll first make sure it works and then do the tiying and tidying (right word ?). Also the reverb section and fet circuits are missing. I will add them later.

Looks pretty slick mat!
Please post some clips when it's up and limping. I'd like to compare to my own HRM project.
