Hi Everyone,
Just finished the layout for SSS 002 (John Mayers amp).
I've double and tripled checked it, but if I've missed something let me know.
All thats left is the foot switch.
Have fun
Thanks,
Aaron
EDIT:- revised layout on page 3

Aaron, why do you think #001 has a 1M AUD volume control and #002 a 100K LIN volume control?
Cheers,
Max

Thank you Aaron very nice work.
Has there been any talk about having boards made for both 002 and 001?
I have had some interest PM to me about boards and chassis size, etc.

I'm up for some boards, but only if there's predrilled chassis

Well if we get enough interest and some smart people together we could have chassis, boards and faceplates too.

Hi Mark,
I'd defiantly be in for a kit.
I did a DXF drawing for the chassis a couple of months ago for the SSS 002.
Thanks,
Aaron

Hi Max,
I used the values on the hand drawn schem. I thought it was a bit low, but when I checked some Fender schems, values used for the vol over various models have been:-
250k AUD
250k LIN
500k LIN
Hopefully someone with more tech expertise could step in for me here.
I'm guessing it would send more signal quicker than an audio pot but would have less highs?
Maybe the original owner had a Tele that had weak pick ups and really trebley!
Thanks,
Aaron
