65amps ventura PI caps?

I have a 470k in series with a .047 cap running from one pi coupling cap to the other?(power tube side of pi) what is this here for? I've seen other 65amps ventura without this?thanks for any help

Are you sure it isn't a .0047 cap? I've seen that combination in other amps, used as a cut control.

yes you are right it is 472 (.0047). does this limit the high end and volume? thanks

It limits the treble. It's a "cut" control used in other amps, but with a fixed value.
