I am considering building a quick octopus circuit to use with my scope in XY mode.
The question I have is I plan to use a ratshack 12v stepdown tranny. Is 12V enough to test 400v or 630v-rated caps? or am I wasting my time? I primarily want to use this to test caps in circuit for leakage.
