I always like fiddling on the bench and trying out ideas.
cut and paste different circuit features that typify the amps they come from.
I've been mucking around with a hiwatt CF, vox ac50\100 tone stack, to a fender LTCC inverter,
and you know it does alright.

Re: mixed up
I find JSchem real handy for knocking up schematics quickly, seeing as how its free'n'all. You got the hang of the component labelling yet Andy?

Sounds cool, I've tried that stack before in an AC30 and liked it. And I must say that is the most adorable Jschem drawing I have ever seen. Your handrawings will be missed!
EDIT: At first, I thought you were using this stack:

Re: mixed up
Curious about two things. I assume the plate resistors on the PI should not be connected? also the bass pot is connected to ground, shouldn't it just hang like a typical vox TS?

don't mind the plate resistors, it was a quik and ruff stab at it... I switched pooters and the scanner software was out of date, it so much quiker with pencil, quad paper and scanner.
theres a slue of variations on that tone stack, and the values are up to yous guys, just spend some time digging around the net, don't need to spell it out.
any how... heres a ac 50
I spent bench time trying damned near every "feature" I've seen a schematic of, its fun to check them out with out prejudice, they each have their own thing to them.
that hiwatt follower is pretty unique, neat mod to try out, might be interesting to see what it does in superlead.
the tone stack comes in all forms, selmer had an odd tweak to it in a treble-n-bass, I like the simple circuit approach less can be more.

Re: mixed up
What the "tweak" in the Treble n Bass? No bass cap? That's seems a bad idea as it there's nothing to block the DC from the pot.

Re: mixed up
this one maybe, the normal channel, the more you look the more variations
there always a cap to keep the dc off the pot, wouldn't want a scratchy pot
unless its a hot date

Love Selmer. I borrowed part of one on my first project off the beaten path.Andy Le Blanc wrote:

Hiwatt follower. I am going to go looksee, but you can talk about it more.. if you like.
