I have a push pull pot for bass control. Today i decided to reroute my tone stack woring and figure what the heck, i will run the bass to one lug on the pushpull pot and a short lead to the pot to allow me to cut the bass control out.
To my surprise...the amp got super crunchy and the bass control turned into some sort of psychedelic crunch control on steroids. I love it! Figured i would share.
I am going to now experiment with putting a cap across the lugs so instead of being completely disconnected, the cap will be in series with the regular tone stack cap to see what kind of additional frequency control i can get with that.
The amp still sounds good on the bass side, surprisingly, as well even with it disconnected.
