Hi , I seen that Bludotone build an amp called HI PLAINS DRIFTER and it seems to me similar to a SSS.
someone has got to try one?
from the sample on youtube seems a good amp!

Seconds to that I bought one this year and its a great amp based off the SSS.
This one in particular was cloned off Eric Johnsons SSS amp..
I am in process of getting a serious rack wired up to showcase several amps I have here waiting on more cable now soon there will be clips of this amp up.

Should be right around 500V plates and maybe a few volts less on the screens.
Some years ago Mr. Bludo posted here that of two original SSS he had been into, one ran about 520V the other 495V, slightly less on the screens.
He didn't say if one of those was EJ's SSS though. It could have been.
