Frequency splitter

Post by dr. who »

I would like to know if any company makes a device that has one input and takes that signal and does a frequenccy split and sends the higher frequency to an output and lower to another output. Class A preferred.

Sounds like a crossover filter?

There's a zillion of these, from the crossover in your stereo speaker to active op-amp crossovers used in bi-amped speakers, to hifi tweaky $$$ units from Marchand. What is the intended application? In the simplest case, two resistors and two caps will do what you want.
