covers for unused Octal holes

Post by txbluesboy »

Somewhere I saw that someone had aluminum plates that could be used to cover the extra holes in a 100 watt chassis when building a 50 watt amp.
Anybody know who sells these?

Try your local hardware store or Low Depot. They should have chrome snap-in hole covers (plumbing, for sinks). Not sure if pricing is better or worse than $5 from Weber plus postage or if the size will be right.

I just make my own and attach them to the inside with screws. That covers exterior appearance issues. You can just use a square bit of sheet metal. This is cheapest, quickest route. Cut with snips, drill two holes. You're done.
