Yeah I use 8 corner clamps on mine to keep it in place plus two long clamps.

The project for today was the control panel face. With the tiger cherry I decided to put a tiger picture on the face. Also installed carbon PEC pots as in amp 2 Beverly. Like the way they worked, not that the alpha's were not working. Just like the PEC's better. :D Need to drill chassis bolt holes, then I can finish it.

Leah has finish. Just need to add tube chart when finish cures.
Betty's cabinet is glued and clamped. :) She is the last of the trio.
Then what?? An Express maybe?

Wish I had more of them, Got them about 20 years ago from Betty's owner.
They sure are handy. :D

yeah they look really classic. Amazing how wooden tools can have such a long service life when they are taken care of.

Well Betty now has the picture frame attached. :) Now just have to round edges and sand. Leah has a 2x12 speaker cabinet also. Tiger cherry wood with brown grill cloth. 2 vintage 30 speakers for now. Still have to make picture frame edges on the speaker cabinet yet, and finish. Had to hook it up and hear it before I finish it. Sounds good so far, not sure the final speaker combination yet. :D

Added back panels to speaker cabinet today and put on the first coat of Tru Oil. I am really happy with the results so far, sounds real solid with the vintage 30's.. :D

Leah is finished..... :D Head and 2x12 are done. This one is mine and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Now just have to work on Betty, head cabinet is almost done and chassis just needs some major wiring. That should be no problem as I have had some practice now.
