anyone have dimensions of Princeton reverb chassis ?

Post by pula58 »

I am looking for a good mechanical drawing of a Fender princeton reverb chassis. One that would show major cutout openings (like Power tranny, capacitor can, etc)

thanks!

I haven't seen info for a real Princeton chassis only Weber's which is not precise.

The angle on the front panel is different.
The original is 15°, (75° as shown on the drawing) isn't it ?

Here's one for the Mojo chassis....I believe it's pretty close.

Slightly off topic: how many different angles did Fender use? Two Twins and a Bassman I have open at the moment are all 25 degrees. Smaller amps are "flatter?"

The PR chassis data states 16 degrees angle.

I today measured a Silverface Bassman chassis: 25 degree faceplate angle

Today I also measured a Mojo princeton reverb replica chassis: 24.5 degrees. Probably actually is 25 degress with some measurement error.

Seems like 25 degrees it is!

I have been producing Princeton, Bassman, Tremolux etc. chassis for 3 years now and I have found 25 degrees works for my customers.

In this thread is photos of the custom Tremolux chassis I had Vintagedream build for me. Great chassis. :) https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.ph ... c&start=30
