If Sozo would have never existed, most likely the Mallory 150 would be the off the shelf choice.....end of story. Personally, if I was looking to make caps as option to Sozo my due dilligence would start with what's at the origin(s) of Sozo's long lead times, verses the exercise of how to make capacitors.

I always said you were a freaking genius. I have a bottle in the fridge. This is going to be awesome.
Somebody has already beat you too it. There was a guy on eBay a couple of years ago selling repro "mustard caps" for restorations using Sozo and Mal 150 as donors. His epoxy coating just about nailed the Phillips coating in dijon color and texture, but his fonts where a little heavy. For someone that really didn't know what exactly to look for they could have been fooled.

I make 3 kinds, traditional, deli style, and horseradish.
What? No Grey Poupon?
I would never willingly, knowingly eat an Oscar Meyer hotdog. I have standards! Hoffman's or Sahlen's only!
There was a girl I knew that used to chase me around with an open can of cat food and a spoon. I ended that gross crap one day when I took the spoon from her. What doesn't kill you makes you invincible. (to cat food) I'll never have to eat cat food again, but it can't be used as a weapon on me either.
I will eat most anything that isn't related to an octopus, or flavored like an octopus, except for sea urchin. It's like sandy fish flavored peanut butter. I won't eat some or those flavorless vegetative things either. That white hard thing that looks like a tree for a large scale model train.. No. Brussel sprouts? What the hell would I eat that for? I bought food at the grocery!
Oscar-Mayer is a real treat after a big bite of wet cat food. If you ever wondered what they do with the fish bones, they add them to cat food.
