Introducting Myself
I just realized that I jumped into the forum without a proper introduction. My name is Glenn and I live in LA. I found this forum while Googling info on Dumble amps. I had been checking out Ceriatone and doing my homework on the company, and now I'm familiar with so many others who also offer their take on HAD's designs. I'm not an amp builder nor a pro player, but I dig the tone of several Dumble players surch as SRV, Santana & Ford and I will be getting into a new amp at some point. So this forum has provided me with a wealth of information that I didn't have prior to joining. I'm weighing my options re builders right now and when the time (and money) is right, I look forward to jumping into the boutique thing and getting a nice tube amp to complement the nice guitars I'm fortunate to own. I look forward to continuing my education into these high-end amps and owning my own soon. Thanks for reading.

Hi Glenn,
Welcome to The Amp Garage.
You came to the right place for Dumble knowledge.
There are some incredibly smart people here.
I know I may seem redundant but could you put your location in your profile?
Just the state or country is fine.
A lot of times when we recommend a product or component that may be available locally, the person we are trying to help then says oh, I'm in Bolivia.
Just an example.

Re: Introducting Myself
Welcome! Like Tom said, this is the right place for info on Dumbles. I can honestly say 1 1/2 years ago I barely knew what a Dumble was. Now I got to sleep with all things "HAD" rolling around in my head.
Also, that guitar from the other thread really needs to be plugged into a D-style amp.
What an awesome couple they would make.

Re: Introducting Myself
Thanks re my custom guitar. I feel really fortunate to own it. It has a fat "D" shaped neck that actually rumbles when a chord is strummed as if its electrified...great sustain, and the flat radius makes bending notes a joy. I'm having another one built by the same builder that will feature a fiddleback Mahogany body, quilt maple top to be stained an aquamarine blue, genuine certified old-growth Brazilian rosewood neck and a weirdly figured Mun (Asian) Ebony fretboard and bookmatched headstock plate. It'll be a doublecut shape and I'm calling it my "Santana Killer." LOL Love Carlos Santana from way back, always loved his PRS guitars and I've always wanted a translucent blue top so this will my "grail" guitar.
The doublecut guitar will have two aged A5 pups...I have a feeling it will really sing in whichever D-styled amp I eventually get. I'm talking with Bill of Sebago Sound about doing a Bluesmaster build...we'll see if I get it.
Thanks again guys.
