Hi Folks,
This may be a "stupid question of the day" sort of thing, and if so, I sincerely apologize. I am still in the early stages of my amp-building and tweaking, having built only two amps thus far (and a few mods). I am thinking about some of my potential future builds. This site is obviously deeply entrenched in Dumble and Trainwreck information. As for the classic "Dumble-esc" sound, players like Robben Ford, Larry Carlton and Carlos Santana as good examples of what a Dumble amp -- in the hands of the right player -- can sound like.
Then I come to the Trainwreck amps. While I certainly have heard reports of the mythically-proportioned tone of these amps, I really don't have a reference of what they actually sound like. I was hoping that perhaps some recommendations could be made of some recordings that exemplify some of the typical sounds of these amps? In other words, what major-name players use these amps, and on what recordings?
My hope is to have some sort of a sonic reference as to what one of these might sound like, were I to attempt one as a future build. Personal observations and opinions from Forum members are most welcome, too.
With thanks,
Paul

Thanks very much for this link, Keith.
I have just gotten the CD a couple of days ago, and I have practically worn out the CD player in my car listening to this thing. A great player -- might I add -- playing through some great amps.
