The wire from the ht fuse to each of the plates measure 41-42 ohms and when the plates are together it tones as closed to the hot.

It appears across the 2ndary is .4ish, .7ish, and .9ish.

So if I run para pairs of resistors <same diss rating> the dissapation rating doubles?

Fresh out of 1R/1w resostors, but I have 2.2R/.5w on hand and they land just under 10%.
