Ever use those spendy bee's wax things?

I did. I can't get my amp to stop buzzing...

Got this email
Your order shipped today minus the JTM45 kit, the vintage .022’s are out of stock and won’t be in until the end of February so I am going to refund your money and email you when they are available and if you still want them you can re order at that time.
So they are keeping me informed so not sure why they didn't do that with other customers, I'm special I do realize that

They did inform me too...
Your order shipped today minus the 6/022’s which we just ran out of stock on. We are hoping to have them finished by the 18th. I will email you when they are ready for shipping.
That was last November. I know of a few people over here (Spain) that expected shipments from China and found out (usually at the expected arrival date) that their providers had sold the items (designed by you) to someone else, at a better price.... Sounds familiar?

Okay I won't hold my breath, I'm coming up for air Pablo

I'll post as soon as I see them and how they arrived (packaging) and what is missing. :)

This is yet another example of someone trying to make me taste electricity.

I won't ever do that, again.

Hey Billy,

How would you characterize their sound? I was sorely tempted to use them for a jazz amp clone build but opted for Sozo blue molded (polyester) instead. Still curious about those paper & beeswax Jupiters though.

Thanks,
Dave

Not sure I would use the Beeswax ones in a tube amp. The heat is known to melt the wax. Although, they did reformulate the wax and say it can withstand a tube amp now.

Hahah, good point...I was wondering about that! I'll stick to blue moldeds...they sounded great.

Oh yeah.

I have audiophile tires on my cars though, I'll never learn.

You must mean the Cryogenic ones. You know how hard tires get when you freeze them.

Yes. They froze my math education.

BTW, @ 451 volts, my bias (el34s) should be around -37?

Ok, forget the last question. I figured that out.

Water on wood.. flour on grease.. what puts out a metal fire?

Sent me an email fast and said they were reimbursing me for part of my order and supplied only a few blue caps. They said I could reorder later and maybe stock will be replenished then.
