Hey, I think I recognize that amp! ;)

Paul, you wouldn't believe how many folks geek out over this amp. I hate to say it, but it pretty much cured any G.A.S. I had.

The only thing I can think of getting might be another of these as a backup or more volume for bigger venues.

I can personally vouch for how much ass "Diana" kicks! That amp completely slays! BTW, thanks again for "Marta" John, I try to have my way with her as much as possible...:)

Thanks guys! And I forgot to post my layout diagrams last night. Crap. I'm out of town today but I can post Wednesday night. Feel free to bump if I forget again. I should just make some web pages on my site that detail this stuff...

Paul,
Is there anything remarkable about tie-wrapping what looks like the grid and cathode wires on V1? In both cases it looks like the grid wire is shielded and the cathode wire is tie-wrapped together with it. It's early in the preamp and it doesn't look like you did it elsewhere (which seems to imply that you had a specific reason for doing it)...just curious. Nice looking amp.

Purely structural to keep the grid wire from wobbling around and breaking off.
