Rocket Man!

Post by Structo »

Not sure if any of you have seen this guy before.
He litteraly straps a rocket and wings on his back and flies.

This time, in Hi Def in the Grand Canyon.

It's amazing!

4 x micro jet engines to be precise. He sure is amazing. I have been following him since his first successful flight made waves. What's fascinating to me is how he uses readily available components and put his kit together and goes flying. This is not a billion dollar enterprise guys. One retired air force pilot, 4 model airplane jet engines, bunch of carbon fiber and pair of brass balls is all it takes. Just fascinating.

Thanks for sharing this gorgeous video production.

That was fun...

...however, if he had a TW Rocket strapped on, it would've be even better. Rock on, "Rocket" Man!

Cheers,
Rob

Not a billion but those engines are probably 10 grand apiece. He could have 60 to 100 grand easy. About halfway through I wondered how he was going to land and figured he had a chute.
