Dlite speaker outs

On a typical Dlite with two speaker jacks, can I hook up second speaker cab to the amp ( both 16 ohm speakers ) and just set the impedance switch for
8 ohms.

I bought some earlier D'Lite amps, and they had both jacks in parallel,..so I would say yes,...this should work.
