Dumbleator Interest??

Post by Funkalicousgroove »

Is anyone interested in building a Dumbleator? I was getting a price on the correct type of transformer, and obviously they are cheaper if you buy lots of them, so, I thought I would see if anyone had interest in building one into a 1sp rack. If 50 or so people are interested the trannies should be between $30 and $40 ea. Lemme Know

Thanks,
Funk

I'll probably end up buying 50pcs just to get the price break, I'll keep ya posted.

How about a nice 19" faceplate for the Dumbleator? Count me in on that!

Even a complete not too deep (top max 25 cm) 19" enclosure would be interesting for me.

Cheers,

Do you want any transformers? that is what I am asking about.

I would really appreciate it if we could just keep the post to the subject at hand. As with the chassis, I will be coming out of pocket with a sizeable amount in order to make these available, so if all nonsequiter could be made in other posts, I'm just trying to gauge how many to buy.

Thanks

Please count me in for one as well. Your a damn nice guy to continue to source chassis, cabs and now Dumbleator trannies at your own financial risk for all of us strangers. Thanks in advance Funk!!!!

The response has been quite favorable, So intend to continue, and thank you all for your patience during the production period, the cabs have been slow, but everything should ship cabinetwise by the end of this month.

THanks!

135Vac@ 150mA
6.3Vac@ 900mA

And they're just the right size to fit on the back of a 1sp rack chassis.

I took the specs right off the trannie in a Dumbleator II, the original part is a triad, but they want you to buy like 100 pcs.

If you order more, I would be in for 5 or 6. I think I missed the initial product launch here.

I come up with about 340V and 260V for the two taps.
