Man you gave me the willies reaching inside that chassis with one hand while hanging onto the neck of your guitar.
You essentially just completed a circuit through your chest if you would have touched a hot wire inside.

Ceriatone this time. I added F&T caps and mercury mags and a 3 way bright switch. I also lowered the filtering on the mains.

After building around 50 D style amps with heyboer, magnetic component s and ceria brand transformers I have to say the mercury trannies sound the best ...IMHO they have more of a round tone to my ears with less spike in the treble with a more even response. My least favorite are the magnetic components. I never really kept a amp with ceriatone trannies very long but from what I remember they sounded good but a little bright. This is just my opinion.

That amp sounds real nice. Was the strat in the FET input? , either way it sounded sweet.

PT and OT are MM? What did the trannys cost?

50 D style amps not including fender train wreck and marshall style amps I built through the years with help from this forum.
