Pickup Resistance

Post by Cantplay »

I have a set of Seymour Duncan pickups.

Is the higher resistance one normally neck, or bridge?

I'm thinking the higher(hotter) one for bridge. At room temp, I'm getting 7.05k, and 7.94k

7.9 to the rear. Hotter.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

If all else is equal, the higher DC resistance pickup would go in the bridge position.
