OT Impedance for 6V6 Herzog: 5k or 8k?

I use a multi-tap OPT in my Champ type build and compared ~4.5K to ~7.5k several times. There was no discernable difference in volume or tone.

I learned something new and amazing today. The little + and - things on electrolytic capacitors actually mean something important.

What's really neat is when you hook up one of those caps backwards and apply a high voltage.......KaaPow!

When I made my circuit board, I stuck components on it just to see how they fit. When I started soldering things together, I neglected to make sure every capacitor was facing the right way. Fortunately nothing blew up. As far as you will ever know.

Also, it turns out a 6V6 makes a pretty lousy rectifier.

A crap no 6v6 for a rectifier now what am I going to use.
