Sueded this Pro Reverb today

Post by amplifiednation »

I thought this came out pretty good. If anyone knows how to put the legs back on these amps, let me know, I am at a loss. (I guess I didn't really try that hard).

So i guess the argument is...by sueding this vintage amp did I decrease resale value or increase the resale value? I'm thinking a little bit of both. I'm not even sure if i made it cooler...but I made it much softer! Thats for sure.

Suede is said to make cabinets sound better. I'm not sure how much truth there is to that.

It was impossible to miss the 5150 and the Marshall head and cab. You know which one I'm talking about. :o

That is VERY nice.
I have a Marshall JCM 800, 4x 12, speaker cab that I have to re-cover. Is there any kind of tutorial somewhere that shows/explains how to wrap a cab, make the cuts, angles, corners, returns, and all of that kind of stuff.?
Thank You

May I ask how you fastened the grill clothe to the metal grill on that Mesa 4x12 slant cab. I have one of those and what you did looks great. Makes me want to do one.
