And it was embaressing simple.... I forgot to connect the second coupler from V1 to the OD-relay......

It works now....but, of course not perfect.

The hum is better, but when I hit the strings a little hard, it goes quiet... If I play gently, it works fine. The funny thing is that when I strum hard, and the sound goes away, I can tap the chassis, or some of the switches, and it comes back.

Great news, you've got sound.

Sounds like you might have a bad ground connection somewhere.

Yes.. I think so too.

I also wired the bass pot backwards, but that's a tiny problem.

I'll resolder the center taps, just to make sure. I won't risk having them come loose during operation.

I love the sound, even if I didn't get to play that much yet.

I used the 240V primary, but I might go for the 220V to get my voltages up a bit.. I only have 6.0V on the heaters...but V1 is pretty close to where it should be..

Glad to hear you got it working:) a few days of debugging and you should begood....

One thing i noticed on mine last night while playing in the dark was that my red light varies in brightness... like constantly up and down..notalot but noticable
