Sorry to be lazy but does anyone recognize the transformer complement? Magnetic Components? custom set or off the shelf?

Yeah wish I had thought of it - someone on the web was showing off a little BUD box he made to do the same thing, very fancy with fixed clips and a polarity switch.ayan wrote:Brilliant, Henry!

I personally don't take any interest in any of the 2 Rock products however thanks for taking all the time to document the amp and post your findings here.

Could you take a good picture of the slope resistor?paisley_tele wrote:Couple questions that i have.

I'm having a blond moment. Where would the slope resistor be?

Could not agree more. Great job on the pics, but why anyone would want to clone an amp that in my experience doesn't compare to what has been built here by members for years. I suggest following the guides here and do a real clone. Then compare to the sig and you will be surprised, imo.

That amp is a complete mess compared to what the members here build.

You're right Scott, however I find it interesting in what way the FXloop and reverb are built in and how the filter supply is physically done and all other gadgets you can switch.dogears wrote:Could not agree more. I've seen a few picture posts of Gary and Jelle, they have really cool evolved "ODS like" amps with similar features or even more, but never shown in high detail like this. So this is new for me and very interesting

Don't mind the baggage getting drug through the thread.

Re: Two rock custom reverb sig sounds and guts
What baggage? I have played a half dozen of these very amps and none compared favorably to what has already been meticulously outlined in this forum.
I think it is quite helpful to make this opinion known before someone spends dozens of hours and a hundreds of dollars to copy something only to find it is not as exciting as a different build.
Besides which this is the Dumble forum. That TR is almost exactly the same as the ubiquitous Skyline non HRM architecture with only a couple variations.
Sorry to attempt to help.
