Mike, looks great. Please do keep posting various stages as you build. It can serve as a great source for those of us waiting to pull the trigger on a 100watt build.

Ange, everything is stranded 20AWG teflon except for the violet strand that feeds the positive side of the LED indicator. I love teflon because I don't play well with PVC. I find that the 20AWG teflon is so much easier to work with, especially for the heater string and heater strings are my weakness.

I get my wire from Tube Depot.

nice amp

Yeah I prefer the teflon as well. I do read about teflon inducing some sonic characteristics... brighter.... ? I wonder. Is that stranded pre-tinned?

Pity the BN site is so lifeless, that place was buzzing for a while.

Silver plated, non-pretinned.

Yeah, it's shame about the site and everything along with it. There's more to being a good craftsman than just having craft skills. I might have to call him and check on him.

Looking good TM.
Are you going to use a film cap for the presence?

I finally installed my FET board yesterday!

Thanks Tom,

Yeah I debated whether to install a tant or not, but in the spirit of the build I went ahead and installed a fim cap. It worked out because I just happened to have some large values orange film cap.

How do you like the FET? Did you use the stock cap values?

Ange , she's getting closer for sure. Not sure if I'm going to throw anymore time at it for the remainder of the week. If the weather is nice on Sat, I'm going to work on the drag car.
