Thanks for the info. Eleven Rack seems to be quite cool box Did You use any effects/processing on the Eleven Rack or in the Pro Tools ?
Thanks,
Only added a little delay(170ms) with a rocktron replifex in the fxloop of a dumblelator and a fair amount of reverb in pro tools.
Eleven rack is cool, often related to be a only a modeller; it's a very nice sound card for the pc/mac too.

Ok, thanks for clearing that out. I would very much like to hear more clips of that amp, if possible
Erwin, as you know, I have recently tried this arrangement and so far I am likeing it alot!!! Having lived with my 4x6V6 BM for a while, I came to the conclusion that I loved the clean channel, but struggled to get a satisfactory OD sound. The two never sounded an extension of the other. I discovered this thread, listened to the second sound track and was sold!! The clean channel is still strong, though it EQs differently with the 68k slope (I may be tempted to decrease this a little as I have already changed Bass pot from 500k to 250k .....may also revert back to 0.02 coupling caps in output stage ). At present the bass doesnt need to be turned off!!. The OD now sounds a much more natural progression of the clean (classic non hrm). There is still room for improvement eg PI set up, valve choice in different positions, but i am really pleased with initial results. I would strongly recommend others to try and to develop further this idea. Thanks to Erwin for all his help and suggestions.
Erwin, I see you've removed the schematic. Just wondering if his mod was the same as the schem you emailed me about a month ago on the ceriatone forums? Jim (aht) wheresmyspaceship dot com?
I'm keen to play, but am unsure as mine is a hrm blusmaster.

Dr D: Thanks for your post! In what way do you like to see improvement in the PI setup?

Jimbo: yes I removed it. The reason why:
I got several building requests for this particular set-up.
Some of the potential clients thought it's too expensive and actually want to have the job done by a cheaper company, which pisses me off.
I have no issues when posting members at TAG ask for this schematic.

It's quite nice to have that alternative flavour available, if you already have a few ODS topologies though.
Erwin, your clips are always top drawer, but I have to say that these get closer than any I have heard to the LC 'Last Nite' tones. Congratulations on an excellent achievement! I've added this topology to my 'must try' list!

Haha. You sound just like Howard
Can I swing by your house any time soon for that 47pf cap please?
Erwin, by" PI set up" I meant adjustment of my PI !!! By the way, having lived with the amp for a while now I have noticed a few differences that I cant account for. Firstly, I have to set the preamp vol and output vol much higher than I did in BM setup. Secondly, the OD is very very gainy with a very narrow sweet spot. Can this be just down to the 24K/820R PI? I'm sruggling to get your OD sound!!!!

Did you change your OD/clean relay circuit? It has to.
Did you change the PAB resistor? 75K(instead of 22M).
The od trim; I measured 26-30K for a good OD sound.
Hi Guys,
Last friday I had some extensive testing with a good player. His 1968 ES-335 sounded flabby and farty with my bluesmaster non-hrm mod. So I tried some things and the posted schematic below was the outcome. Biggest improvement was changing the cap on the mid boost: it was a ceramic , now it is a silver mica.
During testing a 2x G12-65 cab was used.
