Best way to impliment a parallel stage

I've got a schem for a tube clean boost circuit (V1a from Matchless Hot Box pedal)... it uses one half of a 12ax7wb.

What do I need to keep in mind, in order to change this into a parallel triode stage?

Change the 220k to 100k and the 2k2 to 1k or 1k1. Then see how that sounds. You might not need so much treble bypass (the 180pF) and you also might want to play around with the tone shaping RC at the output (500pF and 220k). JM2CW
