Hi,

Has any of you had a chance to look under the hood of this amp? From the manual I take that both channels have 3 gain stages, the lead channel has the option of adding a 4th gain stage for a boost.

Since all the Fryette/VHT amps have a cathodyne PI I would expect the same here.

Power amp is 4 cathode biased EL84 tubes. Does it have negative feedback? The absence of presence and depth controls suggest it does not.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
