Go ask your questions

Post by selloutrr »

weber is selling seats to a 25 person forum - one open question / answer for the filming of his upcoming dvd. He built a few Trainwrecks...
for $399.00 you can ask a question. If you can't afford the cost of admission you can buy the DVD for $69

I give him credit for creating a revenue stream for himself, but "a life altering event"? I don't think so.

The access to information contained in this forum dwarfs the amount of knowledge that could be imparted anywhere in one day. And TAG is monetarily free. BTW, a big thank you to everyone here. I have benefited immensely from your collective knowledge.

would it not be funny to take a TW clone and your question be... Ok how do you voice a TW? it does say ask anything, and chassis are a loud.

I completely agree with you! This forum's knowledge pool is amazing!

We should donate some cash and send one of our TAG members to the seminar with a TW that would be interesting. :)

But I would rather help out a brother or sister TAG member by donating parts rather then wasting money on this.

It would be a waste of money.

I think he may have lost touch with the "information age." The last time I paid $399 to attend an event, it was 3 days and included Colin Powell as a guest speaker.

Ask him how he kept from getting his ass kicked at the '91 Dallas vintage show.

rofl

-hint; turning DOWN that CRAP-
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

Yea 399. is a-bit over the top for this type of seminar, but you have to give Gerald credit. He has made himself a lot of mu-la by catering to the average player who wants to know more about his amp. I have sevaral of his books and the last culmination DVD in my collection.
