I listened to the clip, the first sounded OK and second sounded fizzy, just wondered what this had to do with DIY amp building :?

I came on here (and got) amazing advice and support from both hobby and pro builders. I went from being a complete novice to a satisfied and I think fairly competent builder of an amp (OK it was a kit... but bloody complicated), a Dlator and assorted cabinetry.

I still get a great buzz( ) whenever I turn my rig on and hear the great tones from a D-style amp, tweaked with the help of the folks on here.

All acheived through this forum's members time and efforts.

I don't see how a "this tones better than this tone" pissing contest helps the Amp Garage, when another gear-oriented site for mostly non-builders seems to provide all the ego-massaging you might need.

Well spoken.

Yes, let's all stand together and help one another that this forum stays clear from people who think "discussion" could mean something else than clapping on other backs or even dare to post and - even in lenghty posts - different and perhaps controversal opinions. Is this BS what the bandwidth here should be used for? I say: Never! And then this Kaiser madman with his degenerate art. No! Too much is too much! This should end at once now! Otherwise the day will come where we return at home and find our daughters smoking strange weeds and listening to a stutter effect. Let's act! Immediately!

Come on guys and don't forget your Dumble rifles and pistols!

Max, I appreciate your opinion and postings in general, but not so much the lengthy bickering with TAG - waste of precious time IMO.

Max has a vast knowledge of Dumbles archived and is just illustrating a few examples where Mr. Dumbie says one thing and then flips on his previous statements.

I actually find it amusing, however as I said before, "if you simply ignore it, it will eventually go away.

But you do not, and are always in the thick of it. Action always speaks louder than words.
