wicked, I've got an old bell and howell extension cab and it just looks super cool. Would be nice to have the matching amp like in that auction.

Yeah if you are old enough to remember film projectors in school they usually had a tube amp that was either part of the projector or was an outboard unit that had to be connected to the projector.
Then generally sounded pretty good back in the day.
I have seen some real cool external speaker cabs and or amps.

Nice. I've bid on many B&H speaker cabs just to get that grill piece. Some other companies offered interesting designs as well.
