EF86 pre tied to Clubman output section

I'm thinking about building a single channel amp that uses a preamp similar to the DC30/Vox ef86 channel and running that into a cathode biased dual el34 ouptut section like the Clubman

Seem like this would work just fine?

I've been experimenting with the ef86 lately...lots of fun. I'm using it like the ac15 (into a 4xel84) and trying to get the coupling to my liking. I'm thinking now that the dc30 arrangement, with the cap array, would be ideal.

ef86 work well as a pre to a AC50/100 inverter too.
