power supply for Rocket Reverb

Post by angelodp »

Hi, I am trying to work out the exact power section in the Rocket reverb that Normster posted a while back. There are a bunch of caps and resistors under the board and the connections were not completely drawn out. I went ahead and drew in the big cap connections and was hoping to get some info on what the additional cap & resistor values are. I added the connection lines to the big caps.

Also wondering about the 220K off of pin 2 V2 - Is that going to the RCA ground.

22uf on top (three of them) B5, B4 & B3

40-47uf on bottom two are together for main filter and the single cap is the B+2 just like the Trainwreck Rocket only some on top of the board some below the board.

The 220k from pin 2 is going to the RCA ground lug.

Thanks Mark, so that B2 is the node to use for the Reverb Transformer. Did I get the wires I drew in correct. What about the resistors that are not clearly labeled.

Those hidden resistors look like 220K 2-3w going from main filter caps + to ground post to drain off the caps on shut down.

B2 is the voltage feed for the reverb driver yes.
