Not sure if this is a Thanksgiving thread or a practicing thread. I did a little of both myself. Too much turkey and pies, a nap then a little practice on some Blackfoot.

I sometimes feel that my sound is getting stuck, so I practice up on some new thing and it always seems to get me inspired. I once heard the great BB King in an interview, say"I could play better if I practiced more. We've been on the road alot lately, and I've not been able to practice as much as I'd like." I thought to myself at that time what could he possibly not know about playing the blues. I'm thinking he was talking about keeping the hands hot.
