Mojotone is selling blank tweed chassis. The PT cutout is there and the chassis mounting holes the rest are blank.

Also they have an option for you to design your own faceplate for the blank tweed chassis.

Thanks Mark, I'll be looking at getting it bent locally though, as that is part of the exercise as well.

Do you have a preference for aluminum or steel when you build? I've seen some discussion about it, I wouldn't have thought it would make too much difference to the sound, your thoughts?

Aluminum is easier to cut and drill and is lighter.

Some argue that it should be steel when building the tweed and Marshall amps since that is what they used originally.

Something about ferrous verses non-ferrous metals.
