Most likely a sweep knob that boosts or cuts a fequency anywhere between lows and highs depending on the position of the know. Like a parametric EQ but w/o width, depth, or up/down adjustments. Instead they set those parameters and just let you choose the frequency center with the voice knob.

Probably a "mids" control with some wacky EQ. But, at the price shown (129 Euros), it's almost gotta be a transistor amp, so who really cares.
