kustom transformers

Post by Andy Le Blanc »

Just had a Kustom across the bench, not a bad product, pretty solid rig.

They use "Basler Electric" transformers, US based company mfg in Mexico and US.
Another mfg to add to the list, anybody have any experience with them?

I agree for a solid state amp the vintage kustom's are very well built and sound pretty good to boot. Great bang for the buck.

This one was a 4 6l6 power side and tube pre, SS effects, tube effect loop.
Pretty good.... cheap caps, standard stuff, ok to service, light up dash board.
Not a bad product, only a few years old, the best part was the sticker on the back that said...
