What kind of music You play with Your Trainwreck

Post by andy_wreck_fan »

Hey guys,
I wanted to ask something since it's wreck based forum.....

As topic says,
What kind of music You play with Your Trainwreck?

Even when I started playing,I was always fan of vintage style eqp but modern music....and I experimented a lot...
Even today I got my first JMP,moded and hotroded all trough and trough....and I got HEAVY tones out of it.

My wreck smells bad atm(got that topic, and until I fix it I'm not able to experiment further)....

I was looking for gain mode,to add some drive,I got 5.2k OT,JJ tubes for great bottoms and G12 - 75 in my Orange cab to back it up....I did took out some mastodon tones out of it,but will experiment more in future...

Any1 else got some exp with wreck and heavy stuff?

And please answer my first question,we'll see in how many musical styles wreck is used :)

Blues, Americana, classic rock, texas country. It is a very pretty and expressive amp but probably not well suited to heavy. I can't imagine adding drive or gain.

Same here. Anything you'd want to hear on a rock, classic rock, country or blues station the Express can probably cover.

I had a Fuchs Train 45 for about 8 months and it was a very tasteful amp to say the least. I could play just about any genre including (but not limited to) Jazz,Fusion, Heavy ass Blues, even Jerry Garcia inspired material. The only reason I didn't keep it was because it wasn't loud enough (@35w) and I was set on a D-style platform etc.

Classic Rock, Heavy Blues and a little light duty jazz stuff.

ZZ Top's Blue Jean Blues is always a crowd pleaser with my Express Clone. With infinite sustain, you can milk a note forever.

I have noticed that the swirly effects work well with my amp. The flange-ey Robin Trower stuff is a lot of fun.
