Locking of threads

Post by M Fowler »

Shad? What the heck are you talking about??
Well Dogears since your the only one with any knowledge around here about everything, you can enlighten me.

Or perhaps being a moderator you could behave yourself in a civil manor as well. If I miss spoke then say so don't go around insulting and pushing your way around jerk!

After 15 years perhaps worth reading again?

http://tools.ietf.org/pdf/rfc1855.pdf

Here's some kind of "abstract" concerning "Netiquette" including some more links:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netiquette

and one of these links:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_forum

and there you'll find some more links, like these as an example:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_hominem

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flaming_%28Internet%29

And then there is this of course: http://www.albion.com/netiquette/

And last but not least:

Have a nice weekend,

Wow you are the master of linking; however, the person that needs these valuable lessons is your friend Scott "Dogears".

Perhaps you should read the thread again and you will notice I was not out of line on any of my comments.

The only offending word seems to be the use of a name, SHAD.

You guys are pathetic!

I don't care what kind of day you have.

SOD! ARSE!! BOLLOCKS!! SHITE!!!

LOCKING OF THREADS ON AMP GARAGE?! IS NOTHING SACRED?

This place is the last bastion of Free Speech in the Internet Amp World. If anyone should be shut down obviously it should be me. But, believe it or not I'm anti-cruelty. I'm pro-virtual thrashing when and where I see fit and yeah, it's awfully arrogant of me.

I have a simple guideline I learned when I was four years old:

STICKS AND STONES MAY BREAK MY BONES BUT WORDS WILL NEVER HURT ME.

On the other hand if I or people like me didn't have a place to sound off we'll be out in the street throwing Malotov cocktails.

I hear the rioting in Greece is pretty good this year. Anyone have enough frequent flier miles that I can mooch a ticket? Yeah, it's a little out of season by now. I'm sure I can find some trouble to get into.

I have read that thread twice in an attempt to find out what Mark said that was so out of line. All Mark did was give Shad, whoever that is, a friendly nudge and a wink. Out of line? ROFL!!!!!!!

Go back and read that thread, look at the claims, accusations, and derogatory remarks made by all the posters--then my question is, who is monitoring the monitor?

Once upon the time there still has been something sacred. But it was destroyed in one of he most bloody battles in history. Here’s a report of an embedded CNN team:

As far as I know there is an organisation called "Agent Provocateur". They help if the need for rioting starts to be overwhelming:

Jana,
I do not believe that the locking of the tread was aimed at mark.

Well, Scott clearly needs to take a chill pill after that ridiculous assault on Nik, which was as pathetic as it was unfounded. And you really want to be careful about dishing out the 'p' word towards people...

He's clearly forgotten that Nik has, in fact, contributed here, and gave us our first Trainwreck chassis for builds in conjunction with people here before Allyn and the like got involved in producing theirs.

Actually, Nik grabbed that from me  Not stolen mind you, I sent it to him.

I'm still trying to figure out if Shad worked on Tag's amp or not?
This is baffling me to know end.

The only thing I can think of is TAG (The Amp Garage) was mis-interpreted when I was talking about a guy named tag a contractor that bought an expensive Dumble and wanted some one to clone it for him. Where every thing went wrong after that I don't know.

I need a drink and I quit drinking three years ago. :D
