Lowery OT

Post by andrew »

Hi , I have an OT from a 2-6v6 Lowery organ power amp and I would like some help in identifying the wires. The numbers on the OT are P-6051
606-910
There is a black and a green wire on one side and on the other side there is a red, green, and a yellow. I plan to run it with a 250-0-250vt PT and 2-6v6s.
Thank you for any help.

That should be pretty simple to figure out with a ohmmeter.

The green and black will be the secondary side for the speaker. No idea of the impedance.

The red, green, and a yellow wires will be the primary and one will be the center tap.
So the resistance between two of those will be larger than the resistance from one to the center tap which should read roughly half of what the two outside ones measure.

Don't let that smoke out!
