thank you for the Email!
i just looked at the komet website.
they are so proud to show off the amps they make it easy to clone.
any leads on faceplates and oem chassis?
what type of plating is that scale chrome they use?

Re: Komet 60 Schematic...Accurate ?
i noticed a few differences in cable dressing between the current komet website and some gut shots from and '05 amp. in the current pics the transformer wires seem to be cut and direct runs for shortest distance. the older amps seem to leave the leads the full length and cable tie them.
are there benefits to this? I know it's not easy to solder to some transformer legs after they are cut.
the power supply card in '05 was a straight run for the resistor closest to the 80uf 450v mallory cap that is now seen on the website with a gentle arch in the lead.
old had a 4 pole imp switch new version is the ohmite
old had a ceramic cap now a mica.
sorry just listing some difference i'm noticing between the '05 and the current komet site. I'm guessing the ceramic cap and the old imp switch were the weak points and updated for a more stable replacement.
pics borrowed from the internet if there is a problem i will remove them only posted to illistrate my question in the wiring. all pics are of actual komet amplifiers.
