I've been thinking about using the 6p14-ev's and 6n2p's in my next build. My only concern is they draw more current than el84's and 12ax7's. Here are some specs I found:

I think I'm probably ok with the 6n2p-er.
What changes to a power supply and or transformer would I have to make to use these tubes in a 18wattish type circuit?

Russian specs give the spread of parameters such as heater current so engineers could designs their circuits and power supplies for the worst case conditions.
The western "free world" specs were most often "middle of the road" in civilian versions.
My ranting aside, you should be ok with heater supply based on current ratings for 12A*7 and El84 tubes. Just make sure you wire 6N2P heaters correctly as they are pinned out differently from 12A'*7 or ECC83 tubes.

What VacuumVoodoo said. Those filament currents are expressed in upper and lower ends of the range, with the middle of that being about what EL84s and ECC81s are. The 6P14 pinout is a dead ringer for the EL84 (even the transconductance is the same), except the dissipation is 14W. I haven't tried either of those Russian tube types, but I have used 6P6S beam tetrode in place of 6V6s, and I got to say the 6P6S has a real nice bandwidth and is an identical pinout and virtually the same operating conditions as a 6V6, except its half the price.

I have...I think...a couple of "6N3C" tubes.

Cyngus: I think I have a dozen of those that I got for dirt cheap -- not as cheap as you. What I read is that they are like a 6L6, but get a bad rap because they don't like the high voltage. Try running them at 250V. I'm pretty sure that's what I read. Haven't tried them yet.
