Anyone use cermet pots?

Post by azatplayer »

Just looking around for a pushpull 1meg pot for a master vol control, seems theyre only available in 16mm.
But unrelated to push pull, came across these pretty cool looking blue bournes cermet pots. maybe similar money to a PEC,(at least here in Aus) also conductive plastic models. And 2 watts.
Anybody seen them used?

Cermet = metallized ceramics. Hi-quality pots.

I think Evatco (in Queensland) still has the 24mm 1Megs with the p-p switch. You can sometimes find other values with the switch cheaper. If they are CTS pots, it's pretty easy to replace the carbon track with any value you want.
